Below is a list of suggested school supplies that would be helpful in my classroom.
- Pencils!!! You will always need to bring a sharpened pencil to class. In order to avoid always running to the sharpener I suggest purchasing several .7mm mechanical pencils.
- 1 inch 3-ring binder. This will serve as your main organizational tool. We will keep notes, assignments, tests, quizzes and any other useful information in these. Choose your favorite color :)
- 5-tab dividers. We will be using these to organize the papers in your binder into different sections (it makes it much easier to find things!).
- Graph paper. I will provide graph paper, as we will use it often. However, it is helpful to have graph paper handy at all times. You can purchase the light blue tinted graph paper from Wal-Mart.
- We use graphing calculators almost every day. I have a full classroom set that all students may use. It is helpful to have your own calculator for many reasons. If you are interested in having your own, I suggest the TI-84 Plus model. This calculator will last throughout your high school career too!
